Senior Project Proposal

Proposed Topic in the form of an Essential Question:
Is Diabetes caused by unhealthy eating or is it hereditary?

Rationale for Choice

What about this topic appeals to you? Why did you choose it?

This topic appeals to me because I find it interesting that there are many different forms of diabetes all caused by different things. I chose it because I want to learn more about this subject as well as inform people if they could possibly get diabetes in the future.
What do you already know about this subject?
I know that there are three types of diabetes. One of which you can develop during pregnancy.

What are you hoping to learn about the subject?
I am hoping to learn more about how you can prevent your self from developing diabetes during pregnancy.

What are you most interested in regarding the topic?
I am interesting in how many people currently have diabetes and what ethnicities are more likely to have diabetes.

What potential risks or challenges do you foresee for your project?
I forsee that challege that I might end up procrastinating on my project but I will try my hardest not to.

i believe

1.       I believe men and women should be treated as equals when they have the same jobs.

2.       I believe teachers should be more fun when they teach (like Ms. Grandchamp)

3.       I believe every child should get a cell phone when they’re in 5th grade and no sooner.

4.       I believe seniors in high school should be able to do whatever they want.

5.       I believe our school needs to lighten up on every policy they have.

4. When teenagers reach their last year of high school they would like to slack off some and do what they want at times. After 12 years of schooling we would like to slack of one year before we go into the real world and become adults. It’s our last year of being kids and we would like to enjoy it. Many people drop out of school during their senior year because it’s so hard, if we were able to slack off some there would be a higher graduation rate nationwide because more people would be willing to finish school if there was a year of relaxing waiting for them their senior year.
